Midgley's community room is to be found in the Old Co-op building with the shop.
The Community Room is used for a variety of village events including the weekly coffee morning, to which everyone is welcome.

The Community Room is used for a variety of village events including the weekly coffee morning, to which everyone is welcome.
The Midgley Community Room is available for hire, by local community groups or individuals, for any agreed purpose, public events or meetings. It is also available for private functions e.g. birthday or anniversary celebrations.
The room is also used by Midgley Community Forum for fund-raising events.

Hours must include set-up and clear-down time.
The Community Room is accessible via a ramp, and there is access to a disabled toilet.
The room can hold up to about 35 people seated or about 24 around tables.
There are kitchen facilities with crockery and cutlery available.
It is well stocked with a large stove that has 4 electric ovens with various uses. It also has a microwave and dishwasher.
There is also a bar, but the bar can only be opened and run by a restricted number of authorised people.
